1
Choose the work Lynka should handle first
Decide whether your first goal is prospecting, Sales, quoting and invoicing, stock, Accounting, support, or team collaboration. If you are unsure, use Choose your first workflow.
2
Confirm the product areas you need
Review installed areas in Settings. Navigation is filtered by the workspace capabilities, installed areas, and the current user’s access.Do not install or expose an area simply because it exists. Give the team the parts of Lynka that match real work.
3
Set currency, timezone, and finance basics
If you will use Accounting or posted invoices, review the workspace base currency, document currency behavior, timezone, tax configuration, and chart of accounts before real financial posting begins. These are operating settings, not cosmetic preferences. See Regional setup if your business works across Africa, Europe, or the Middle East.
4
Review the Sales lifecycle
Check lead statuses, deal stages, ownership, and assignment. Keep the core lifecycle clear: a Lead is qualified into a Deal, and the Deal is what eventually closes as won, lost, or disqualified.
5
Set up LeadGen if prospecting is part of your plan
Decide who is allowed to run LeadGen and how the team will review and assign generated prospects.Do not generate a large list before somebody owns the follow-up process. Start with Lead Generator.
6
Invite the team after access is clear
For a Teams workspace, decide which product areas each person needs, what actions they need, and whether their record visibility should be Mine, team, or wider workspace scope where supported.Use Run Lynka with a small team before giving ordinary users Admin access.
7
Connect integrations and notifications
Connect Google or Gmail if your workspace uses it, then review notifications and automation. Provider status must come from the backend, so a button or saved local setting does not by itself prove the external connection succeeded.
8
Complete one real workflow
Pick one path and finish it. For example: LeadGen prospect → Lead → qualification → Deal → Quote. Or Product → Purchase Order → Goods Receipt. Or Invoice → Payment → Accounting review.Fix misunderstandings now, before importing large volumes of real data.
Desktop and mobile
On desktop, Settings uses a persistent settings sidebar and content pane. On mobile, Settings uses a list and detail pattern so long configuration areas remain usable on a smaller screen. Lynka’s mobile experience also uses bottom navigation, cards, compact filters, and full-screen or overlay detail flows where desktop tables and drawers would not fit well.Current plans
