# Settings reference

> Where workspace owners, admins and members change product, access and personal behavior.

Settings is not one giant preferences page. It is split by domain so the control lives close to the work it changes. What you see depends on the workspace plan, enabled product areas, your role and any user access rules.

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Desktop">
    Desktop keeps a persistent Settings sidebar beside the active settings page. You can move between domains without leaving the settings shell.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Mobile">
    Mobile uses a list and detail pattern. Choose the settings destination first, then work inside its page. Long desktop sidebars are not compressed into the phone layout.

Some system-health settings are reserved for service administration and are not normal workspace-owner features.

## Sales settings

Sales settings cover CRM defaults, lead and deal statuses, status colors, sales configuration, custom fields, territories and targets where those controls are enabled.

Status settings change the labels and colors users see in lists and Kanban. They do not change the lifecycle rule that qualification belongs to the lead and the won or lost outcome belongs to the deal.

## Agreements settings

Agreements settings include quote and invoice behavior, document statuses, invoicing and templates. Custom templates can require a paid capability. Posting and payment capture remain server controlled entitlements even if a user can create an invoice.

## Inventory settings

Inventory settings are separated into product, stock, pricing and inventory accounting concerns. Use them to control product behavior and stock rules rather than editing every product to work around a workspace level decision.

## Accounting settings

Accounting settings include finance organization and the controls needed by Accounting. Currency, tax, chart of accounts and posting assumptions deserve extra care once real financial activity exists.

## Marketing settings

Marketing can expose defaults and lead source configuration. These settings depend on the paid Marketing capability and the user's role.

## Support settings

Support settings can include ticket statuses, SLA, assignment, escalation and ticket automation. These are separate because changing an SLA timer is a different decision from changing who receives a ticket.

## Reporting settings

Reporting can expose schedules and usage. Some scheduling and reporting administration is Teams gated even when the standard Reports area is available on another paid plan.

## Teams settings

Teams, Approvals and Access appear for workspaces with collaboration capability and the necessary owner or admin access. Use these pages to manage team membership, approval workflows, product area access and permission decisions.

## Personal settings

Preferences, status colors, shortcuts and some notification choices belong to the individual. Changing them should not silently rewrite the workspace defaults for everyone else.
