# Reorder low stock and investigate slow-moving inventory

> Use reorder levels, open replenishment, out-of-stock signals, slow-moving stock, and supplier relationships to decide what inventory needs action.

Inventory attention is not one list. Low stock, out-of-stock, overdue purchasing, and slow-moving stock describe different problems and need different actions.

## Reorder level

A stocked product below its configured minimum can appear in reorder attention. The built in **Product below reorder level** automation also checks whether open replenishment already exists so the same item is not treated as if nobody ordered it.

## Out of stock

**Product out of stock** identifies active stocked items with no stock available. An out-of-stock item can require a purchase order, supplier review, or investigation into missing receiving or fulfillment history.

## Reorder List report

The active Inventory catalog includes **Reorder List**. Use it to review the products that need replenishment action rather than manually scanning every product quantity.

## Slow Moving Stock

Slow-moving inventory is the opposite kind of risk. The business has stock, but it is not moving at the expected pace. The active catalog includes **Slow Moving Stock** so owners can identify cash tied up in inventory.

## Check open purchasing before ordering again

Before creating another PO, review **Open Purchase Orders** and **Goods in Transit**. An item can look low today while replenishment is already on the way.

## Supplier readiness

If the product has no preferred supplier, the **Stock item missing supplier** automation can surface the gap. Set up the supplier relationship before stock reaches a crisis if the item is important to operations.
