# Troubleshoot LeadGen runs and access

> Fix common Lynka LeadGen problems including missing access, disabled Run actions, exhausted allowance, no-result runs, failed runs, stale balance, and duplicate prospects.

Use the symptom to decide where to look. LeadGen can fail at access, capacity, targeting, provider execution, or the later CRM handoff.

## I cannot see LeadGen

Check the workspace plan, installed product areas, and your user access. LeadGen is separately gated from ordinary Marketing campaign access.

If another user can see LeadGen and you cannot, compare user-level product access and role permissions.

## I can see LeadGen but cannot run it

This usually means the view is available but the run requirement is not.

Check:

1. workspace access state
2. `lead_gen.run` permission
3. remaining plan capacity or valid credit grants
4. whether the backend has already consumed the last available capacity in another run

## The run returned no results

Review geography, industry, and search terms. A very narrow combination can legitimately return nothing.

The backend finalization path treats a run finalized with `no_results` as refundable when it had been charged and had not already been refunded.

## The run failed

Do not immediately submit several replacement runs. First check whether the failed run has finalized and whether the charged capacity was restored.

Failed and canceled runs are also refundable under the current backend finalization logic.

## The balance looks stale

Refresh the LeadGen state. The backend balance is authoritative.

If the mismatch persists, keep the run ID and report the problem so the charge source, charged amount, and refund timestamp can be checked.

## The same company already exists in Sales

Do not create a second active record just because the prospect appeared in another generation run. Use the existing record or the duplicate review flow where appropriate.

## The results are poor but the run succeeded

That is usually a targeting problem rather than a failed job. Narrow the market, adjust one major targeting dimension, and compare the next run rather than changing everything at once.

Start with the customer you can actually serve, then use geography, industry, and search terms to describe that market.
